This event marks his fifth walk in solidarity with the Zero Prostate Foundation. Additionally, Mayes plays an active role in Nichole Galicia’s mentorship and educational endeavor known as The Orchid Foundation, which ardently empowers underserved girls in the city by bestowing them with the essential tools and support to flourish.
As an Advisory Board member of The Orchid Foundation, Mayes played a pivotal role in introducing the nonprofit to Macy’s executives and their Give Back Program, a collaboration that has resulted in Macy’s wholeheartedly embracing The Orchid Foundation, leading to generous donations in support of its cause.
