Held annually in Los Angeles, the Olympia Arts Awards recognized top achievers across music, film, and cultural arts who have made lasting contributions to their fields. Known for its esteemed panel of industry judges and high-profile attendees, the awards ceremony shines a spotlight on those whose work has shaped the artistic landscape. This year’s event was held on Sunday, November 10th in North Hollywood. The show that evening was hosted by Knight Rider Actress Rebecca Holden with over 90 award recipients in attendance.

As one of the key founders of the Jazz Bass Fusion Movement, Bunny Brunel is revered worldwide for his virtuosity on both fretless and upright bass. His influence has set a new standard in jazz, inspiring future generations. Recognized as the most interviewed bassist globally, Brunel frequently appears across various platforms, including magazines, podcasts, radio, and music shows. He has graced the covers of publications such as (PN’P) Plug N Play, Bass Musician, Bassiste, and Bassics, and has been featured in Bass Player, No Treble, For Bass Players Only, Abstract Logix, Fretless Bass, Bass Online, Talk Bass, and many more. In addition to his interviews and features, Brunel serves as Editor at Large for Virtuoso Bass Magazine, where he appeared on the cover of the inaugural issue. Ali Saam is an Iranian American actor celebrated for his compelling performances across international cinema. Born in Tehran, Saam was captivated by American and European films from an early age. After moving to the United States, he pursued his passion for acting, believing that performance could make a meaningful impact on the world. Over the course of his career, he has appeared in more than 25 films, earning acclaim for his versatility and commitment to authenticity. Saam is best known for his powerful role as Ali Khalkhali, a Revolutionary Guard officer, in the Oscar-winning film Argo (2012). His portrayal added critical tension to the film’s climactic moments. Alongside his acting, Saam served as the on-set Farsi interpreter, ensuring linguistic and cultural authenticity. His personal connection to the events depicted in Argo, coupled with his meticulous preparation, enriched his performance and deepened his investment in the project. Ali Saam was nominated for Best Actor for the short film $lowdown (2011) and early in his career, he co-starred in the multi-award-winning feature film Redemption (Agenda Pictures 2002). Saam co-stars in an upcoming narrative feature film titled Accidental Squatter (Agenda Pictures) scheduled for a 2025 release.

Recognized for his creative work on the popular show in its third season, Monogamy, Kevin Foster has brought depth and storytelling nuance to contemporary TV drama, challenging traditional narratives and introducing fresh perspectives on relationships. writing for hit shows on UMC and ALLBLK, most notably Craig Ross Jr.’s Monogamy. His contributions spanned all three seasons of the popular drama, where he skillfully blended emotional depth with his signature wit. Monogamy, which follows four couples through a radical “Swap Therapy” to save their marriages, became a fan favorite on ALLBLK and even premiered on Netflix worldwide outside the U.S. Kevin’s work on the third season, in particular, received critical acclaim for its complex storytelling and character development. Outside of television, Kevin is a highly sought-after script doctor, known for “punching up” scenes with his keen comedic insight. His expertise in elevating projects has made him a go-to creative force in both sitcom pilots and independent feature films.
